Is the Pentax K-01 a "serious" camera?

By the reaction of some camera enthusiasts, no. After all, it lacks a viewfinder, a proper grip, and it comes in yellow! But maybe the camera wasn't made for them. Here's an interesting blog about the camera from another perspective:
