Pentax has announced a new advanced point-and-shoot that carries the vaunted MX name forward. It's called the MX-1 and it's got what looks like real imitation leather sandwiched between brass top and bottom plates to like, you know, mimic the past. By the specs it looks like a nice advanced point-and-shoot in the Panasonic LX7 and Olympus XZ-2 vein. The brass touch is kind of fun and cheeky too. If I were in the market for such a tool I'd likely consider the MX-1, but until then, Pentax can kiss my brass...
