Taken with the Nikon 1 V1 with the 1 Nikkor VR30-110 F/3.8-5.6 @ 1/20s, F6.3, ISO800.
I did exactly what I tell others not to do - take a new camera into an unfamiliar/challenging situation. As a result, I got a lot of dud shots, but some came out ok, like this one. Just a little bit of twiddling in Lightroom and we get this. Vibration Reduction is working well here - 1/20s @ ~140mm EQ - and these otherwise fidgety birds paused long enough for this shot. ISO800 looks to be pretty usable.
