The only time I with I had a wider lens was taking photos of the bike. Nobody told me that it would have "apehangers" LOL! One place where purple fringing usually shows up is on the shiny parts of a motorcycle. This bike is black but there is plenty of shiny in the front forks. Purple fringing is well-controlled here, although I don't know whether it is due to the lens optics or to the post shot corrections that Panasonic do to its lenses. I will say that on more than one occasion, the purple fringing was very pronounced in Lightroom as the high res image loaded. Once it snapped into place the fringing went away. I wonder what the cause of that discrepancy is...?
