My first political rally of any kind was this Obama rally in NJ. He is generating a lot of excitement and discussion. The crowd was filled with the full spectrum of people - young and old, black and white and other colors too. Energizing a crowd and inspiring people is a gift that Mr. Obama has in abundance.

At first I regretted not having a zoom lens with me - I was close enough and the lighting decent enough to get a good portrait. But then I thought, there are thousands of portraits of Obama already - there is no need to have my own. So with my very new, extra wide lens (Sigma 10-20mm f4-5.6) I tried to capture the spirit and enthusiasm of the gathered...
