I've been playing around with a recently-purchased Sigma 10-20mm/f4-5.6 ultra-wide angle zoom. There's a learning curve, but it's lots of fun. I find that the lens forces you to get into the action if you want the subject to fill the frame. In that way, it's much more involving and interactive. Photographer as quiet, passive observer? No more! I'm getting up in your face!
