This is the very last one, in Manhattan at 9:08PM. About 15 minutes earlier a warning popped on the screen saying that the battery was dead, but while waiting in line for the movie I tried one more time and got one more shot before the warning appeared again.
That's a lot of photos on a single battery. Most of the day was spent with the 1 Nikkor VR 30-110mm f/3.8-5.6 zoom. I imagine the VR takes some battery power to run. The only power-saving measure I used was turning off the rear LCD and shooting mostly through the EVF.
My Pentax Q, in comparion, would have probably required 3 batteries to take that many photos. And the GH2 that my wife used for much of the day - and likely took less photos with - required two batteries to get through the day.
